A few close family pictures.

Anne and Tom Armstrong, the wedding.

I always intended to marry, wanted my own fireside, it just tool me a long time to get around to it. Nevertheless it has lasted about 50 years to date, so I guess waiting might have been the right move.Above right, my sister Doreen and Lyn Coulson as bridesmaids.

The picture above left contains a few interesting people. Starting top left, my sister Doreen, just below here in glasses Prof. Les Wimpeny, my old collage guru. Then the young lady facing us is my cousin Margaret, followed by Ray Barns, (My aunt Doreen`s now X husband.) Next my aunt Margaret and her Husband, Uncle Billy Moore( from Wingate). Then My aunt Doreen behind the flowers and last my dear Grandmother, Sarah Howe.

Beautiful and long suffering wife,on the left, with Norton about 1968 and on the right, clutching the best trophy ever available. The Les Graham.About 1969.
She looks very pleased about it and so she should, as without here help the trophy could not have come our way.
This trophy was to be presented to Les at the German grand Prix, but he was killed just before it could be given to him.
So it was sent to England for his wife. Subsequently it found it`s way to Scotland's Kirkcaldy and district motor club and was / is presented to the Scottish champion every year.

My boys celebrating the Queens Jubilee in 1977 and little sister Doreen, Shandy Dog and myself, broken again,on the beach at the blue lagoon, about 1968.

We grow old, the children wed..........
